referred to as "custom shop" basses because they are
handcrafted-to-order. And although many guitar
makers are acting as if this is a new concept, this is

done for the past 35 years.

our Woodstock, NY Workshop by craftsmen who have
dedicated their lives to the mastery of fine instrument

So you walked into your favorite local guitar shop and
there's a deal on an older
USA NS-2™ but it says
"SSD" on
the headstock instead of having the
SPECTOR®
"Double-S".
What does this mean?
The fact is that over the past
30 years a number of
SPECTOR® models have come and gone and
sometimes it's really hard to know just which model is which. We realize there is a large market for used
SPECTORs and we're happy our instruments are so popular.
